Overview of the Role

We are hiring a Business Sales Executive to join our team who will play a vital role in driving the organization's growth through sales strategies. This position requires a deep understanding of both the construction industry and the specific products and services the company offers. The ideal candidate is expected to engage with potential clients, understand their needs, and effectively communicate how the company's solutions can meet those needs.

Salary: 33k-38k DOE.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of a Business Sales Executive include prospecting new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and closing sales deals. This involves conducting market research to identify potential business opportunities and creating a pipeline of new sales leads. Additionally, the successful candidate should be able to :

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Find new business prospects through cold calling, networking, and industry referrals.

  • Client Relationships: Build trust with contractors, developers, and commercial clients through professional communication.

  • Proposals and Bids: Draft accurate quotes, construction project proposals, and tenders in line with company margins.

  • Technical Advising: Explain construction methods, product specifications, or building materials to prospective buyers.

  • Negotiation: Finalise pricing, contract terms, and delivery schedules while protecting profit margins.

  • Pipeline Management: Track daily activity and client data using a CRM System.

The executive must follow up on project development phases to ensure client satisfaction, taking necessary actions to ensure a smooth process from initiation to completion. A significant part of the job is also maintaining accurate records of sales activities and forecasts in order to inform the company's strategic decisions.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and strong computer knowledge

  • CSCS card and any other construction-related qualifications are an edge.
